Are you sure youre not confusing the errors? Thats a generic message. I even get it from time to time if i exceed my permissions. What are you trying to post and where?

You should be a "member" now. But some forums have additional restrictions such as require HC Lite, Ace, or Gold to either post or even view threads. The error pages you see are generic no-permissions pages and are advising common problems,such as not having upgraded to "member" yet... but i believe the same page is displayed whenever you try to access an area youre current permissions dont allow.
So if you could either screenshot the error your getting and tell me what and where you are trying to access or post i may be able to advise why you are getting that error.

Weird thing is, I'm not getting an error. It's the tag and any extra stuff that hasn't changed yet...

thats just a user title. it is not directly related to permissions unless an admin has set it that way...
