hacking hotel wifi - DestructoSphere - 12-28-2013
hey there guys as i have said i live in a hotel with wireless access. when you want to use internet you have to top up a card and then login using it.
after having used this i noticed that the connections stay active if the user doesnt log off maually when they are done, in this network you can come back after an hour and the connection is still active.
I also noticed it identified the account with the mac address.
so all i needed to do was run airodump-ng an find a mac address that is associated with with one of the hotels access points.
i got one used macchanger and then deauthenticated the original computer at the same time as i connected therefore replacing the client with mine.
all good its been an hour now with no problems but if anything happens i will keep you updated.
I also used kalis internet conection sharing on the default network manager and my entire network has that access now too.

This is a technique that has been around at least the last decade. Its nothing new and just about any tutorial posted on the net on how to get free hotel wifi will include it.

i didnt know it has been around for a while i just thought of it and tried. i never did any search about it so had no idea
