The Best Dedicated OS for WiFi Hacking, Many tools at one place - commander - 12-27-2013
Many of the guys here might be aware of WifiSlax, the dedicated OS based on Slackware for Wifi hacking. But I thought I will share a little info on it here and will help at least a few beginners. For beginners who wish to play with tools, WifiSlax is a right choice. The only problem that I faced with this OS was that it is completely in Spanish. But I will explain how to change the language to English. Because that is not as simple as going to settings and changing language to English.
Download WifiSlax 4.7 from here 667 MB
Download English language file from here
Simply open the iso using any ISO software (eg. MagicISO) and put the .xzm file under '/wifislax/base/' folder and save the ISO.
Now install or use it Live.
I dont recommend to install on hd. Use it as Live OS on USB or CD. Go here if you want help with installing on Pendrive.
