Hey guys, I just want to make a point here. I'm 16 years old, all my friends have started smoking marijuana and I REALLY don't want to start doing it. They have asked me countless times and they're saying everything like "Oh my god, god put it on this earth for a reason" and I just answer with "Well, tabaco, it's a plant too, doesn't that count?". In 6'th grade, (I was 12) my best friend said he was going to start smoking weed. This was it, first I was in a bit of chock and I tried so hard not to start crying. I told him to stop and he has said that he has. But, I'm not believing him. I can't scroll through my Instagram without seeing my friends beign in some STUPID contest with some fu**ing weed leaf neclase. What are your thoughs on weed?

Everybody has right to destroy his own life.
But before doing so, they should know as many facts as possible.
Weed today is overrated imo. Yes it can heal, but not by smoking. For every good thing about it, there is a bad thing.
However, from what you have posted, your friends just do it because they want to be cool.

Ive tried it. It has no effect on me whatsoever. At least not by smoking it.
That said... no matter what you hear, pot isnt healthy for you. It may not be as bad as some other drugs, but that shouldnt be an argument for using the stuff. Our bodies are designed to inhale and process oxygen, not chemicals and other shit. When you inhale any type of smoke including that from pot a resin tends to build up on your lungs and clogs up, which deprives your body and brain of getting as much oxygen as it should. Notice how chronic pot smokers tend to be a little bit of the stupid side? lack of oxygen to the brain results in brain damage.
Now... you could also eat pot. Ive never actually done this but its supposed to be a cleaner high, and theres probably lower health risks from smoking it. Just guessing though. not sure about this aspect.
