Anti-virus help - hydrodynamiks - 10-18-2013

Hey guys thanks for reading,
I need help finding a easy user friendly antivirus that works and is free. I've had Microcrap essentials,Malwarebytes and Comodo Internet security/anti-virus/firewall and they all work for my family but I know they suck false positives in all. Comodo works well I love the firewall but after I ran a virus scan it told me I had a virus and i needed to buy the new 2013 version to take care of it,after closing out of the window i was able to remove the viruses with out buying it but that mad me lose faith.

I have heard of bitdefender and Nod32 but I lack money to buy them and I hate trials because I'm not constantly on my family's computers so I don't remember the trial end date. Is there any keygens for Nod32 or bitdefender? or can you guys recommend a free anti-virus? I know a smart person doesn't really need antivirus but this isn't for me this is for my sisters and parents laptops who's recently I had to re-install windows on both of them because they filled them up with viruses.

Any thing will help guys thanks for any help.

AVG free is not bad I'd say. Just don't install the toolbar.

Also disable autorun in their computers. It would help saving their computers from malwares coming from usb/pen/thumb drives.

Ya, i use AVG on my phone, and while i dont use it on my own PC, i do have it running on my partners PC, and whenever do a PC repair involving malware and cleanup etc I install AVG as a permanent install for their use.
