I didn't have write permissions to a plugin file. So I brainstormed how I could gain access otherwise, and I thought about uploading. You upload plugins, why not a shell? Thought about it a little longer, didn't work just doing it normally, had to put in WP API to make it work, and it actually worked. Was quite surprised, and this makes the whole shelling process a little easier

Me releasing this guide does not equal to my capabilities. I agree with you on the fact it's a couple of shells, they aren't anything special, but to newbies who don't know much in the field it'll help get their socks off. Exactly why not? But, do you think anyone here besides a select few can actually do that? Probably not. Sites like these cater to newbies, not the experienced.

Might want to look over that sentence. The part "I hope you know defacing a site is (as you did), you are incriminating yourself." sort of makes no sense, though I get what you're saying.
