Ddos With Python - MrCrispii - 09-03-2013

Its possible to Ddos with Python ?

RE: Ddos With Python - Slarek - 09-03-2013

What do you mean by ddosing with python?
You can't ddos only with your own computer.

RE: Ddos With Python - The Real Slim Shady - 09-03-2013

i dont see why not provided you have the programming ability, as the language features everything you would need. Not sure it would be my first choice though as unless you can create a binary, id say its inconvenient to install the python interpreter on every system. And even if you could come up with a python binary, it probably wouldnt execute as efficiently as say, a C++ app compiled to an exe.

Everything is possible!

An .exe? Is every person now forced to use Windows?

OP: STOP! STOP! STOP! Forget about DDOS'ing and other skiddy methods like that. Grow up and realize that the world of programming/hacking/computers is not about things like that. I can for sure tell you that every person that know just a small amount of hacking/programming would look down upon you just by thinking about DDOS'ing. But to answer your question, yes.

RE: Ddos With Python - Ghost00 - 09-10-2013

I hate the idea of ddos, this is a skiddie way nowdays. if someone just hacked a server and left a rootkit or backdoor that needed restarting the server, would go for a DDOS. Smile
thats is so lame since there a better ways to do it without needing to restart the server. Thats why i say DDOS is not cool at all. While it can still be used, and is good to learn for the knowledge it really isnt used in actual hacks any more because better ways have come about.

Notice i had used the word binary up until that point? thats cause i was providing an example, based on the assumption that the target OS was Windows as that is the most common/ideal platform for a distributed system.

So no... not every one is forced to use windows. but most people do choose it, and its known to have generally weaker security policies. So why would he choose to target a mac or nix machine with a distributed app that will probably be used illegally and without the users permission?

RE: Ddos With Python - hellomen - 09-11-2013

You can DDoS using python if you have a bot net and those are prety hard too gain in my opinion

but out of 1 computer it's not even close to DDoS it's called DoS

Dos = 1 Person

not necessarily connect. while it can be multiple people, it is more likely that it is 1 person with 2 or more devices/systems

First of all python is not about performance at all. In fact python performance suck. Python performance suck so bad I have to repeat it once again!

To answer your question, yes you can use python for ddos attacks.

Ps. I love python.
Pps. Python performance suck.
Ppps. Now go learn some hacking.
