First of all, I got no knowledge in Java.
I was browsing some forums and the lowest it was sold is $250.
So what's the reason behind this?
Is it because it's hard to code or it requires a lot of work?

You can use JRAT and its free to download and doesn't needs crypting. but if you wanna create .exe then you need to crypt with for antivirus bypassing and for that the crypter must be a runtime and FUD crypter.
