The death of a great man. - LoneDevil - 04-26-2013

Today is the day that the country musician George Jones died.

I don't care for much country music, however there were always a few exceptions, like Johnny Cash, (February 26, 1932 - September 12, 2003), Conway Twitty (September 1, 1933 - June 5, 1993), and of course George Jones. (September 12, 1931 - April 26, 2013).

They were perhaps some of the greatest legends among musicians, for they were of the era where music was well written vocals, and well played instruments.

My first concert was of George Jones, I was only about four-teen at the time, my brothers had worked to set up the concert to get free tickets and gave me one.

So to those of you who didn't know him, I leave you with some great songs of his.

May you forever live on, George Jones, the "Possum".

RIP Mr. Jones. Perhaps people over there in the top-floor demand your concerts.

@hackarchives If you think that's great you should have heard him live, he is by far one of the greatest musicians to have ever lived.
That's why I tell everyone, don't limit your music tastes just because of one singer of said genre, or one band of said genre, keep listening, eventually you're bound to find one band of that genre that is really awesome.
