Next Generation Facial Rendering - EnemyDown - 05-07-2013 Not sure if anyone has seen this yet.. but in late March of this year Activision's R&D department released a new tech demo showing off it's new facial animation technology. It's quite creepy how good it is.. especially considering facial animation in it's limited status in current day games. Hopefully this kind of technology will be deployed in all future games.. I'd really love to see that kind of attention to detail in next generation games. Anyways.. check it out. RE: Next Generation Facial Rendering - Nefarious - 05-07-2013 That would be pretty cool to see in a bunch of games. RE: Next Generation Facial Rendering - Customer - 05-07-2013 What if it could read your emotions too? That would be sweet. That's a tad bit creepy haha. I don't know if I'd like that in games though.. seems like too much information given to the game / game developer.
