Programming language introductions - Deque - 03-20-2013

You might have recognized some programming language introduction threads popping up lately.
This is because HC Dev has a project to create an introduction for a wide range of programming languages. Listing their advantages and disadvantages shall help undecided progamming beginners to choose the right language. Afterwards they can get started with that language using the provided links to tutorials, e-books and downloads for interpreter, compiler or IDE.

If we find good additional language tutorials on HC they will be listed in those overviews too.

Every subforum will get a sticky with the language introduction there. But we might also introduce languages without a subforum in the "Other languages" section. They won't become a sticky, but every HC Dev introduction will be listed in this thread.

Ay @Anima Templi, weren't you working on a tutorial?

RE: Programming language introductions - Anima Templi - 04-10-2013

Tutorial? which tutorial, I have never spoken about I would make a programming tutorial. I can and will probably make tutorials in every other field of hacking but I do sadly not have the time right now to write new tutorials. On the other side if you need a tutorial and you find me capable of writing such feel free to inform me and I will take a look at it.
