Need Help with Bitcoins - Artificial_mybb_import10224 - 02-03-2013

Who mines bitcoins here?

Is it better to mind solo or mine in a pool?
I downloaded the Bitcoin Wallet, how do I mine?
What is the best online Bitcoin Wallet? Is there any way to sync the online wallet with the Bitcoin Wallet?

Is there a good tutorial that you would recommend me reading? Preferably one that is not confusing.

Blackhat activities are forbidden on this site

*Bitcoin Mining*
Everything you'll need to research is on the first search page Artificial.
And while Blackhat activities are indeed not supported here, Bitcoin Mining is in and of itself a self supporting World Wide Web Economy (Virtual Economy) by definition.
Thus inherently in and of itself doesn't fall with-in the category of Blackhatting.
The only other advice I shall give you mate is beware to use all proper security techniques at your disposal to avoid your own coinage from being "nefariously mined" (stolen).
See Drake8 for any advanced learning requirements.

I did mean "mine", but again, how is that blackhat?

The first page of the Link contained with-in asterisks.
That first page.
The search page.
Of the link you didn't click.

Didn't know that was a link. Thought it was just your heading. I was looking for more of a recommendation from things people have read, not something I could find easily on my own.

No worries Artificial.
I assumed my use of "first search page" would've given indication of it being a link.
Still, the subject matter will pose good learning material for you by way of having a working knowledge based upon a strong foundation of applicable understanding.
And agreed, it never hurts to get personal feedback from others.
Hence my mention of Drake8 when she happens along.Wink

I guess you don't have a hole mining rig with multiple computers that are specificly build for mining? If you do, mine solo otherwise I would reccommend you to join a pool. Google Bitminter or BTC Guild or Slush Pool. Those are the ones that I can think of right now. You will also need a miner: Gui miner or bitminter's miner are the easiest to use. I hope I helped you with this and if you have any questions feel free to ask.
