Skype Proxy Guide - narc0tics - 01-29-2013 I'm not quite sure if there's a tutorial on this yet, but I haven't seen any. This is a fairly understandable method, and I'll be doing it step-by-step. This is basically to prevent your IP from being traced/resolved on Skype. So if you are paranoid, this guide is for you. 1. First we'll have to find a proper proxy for usage. Proxies can be found all over the Internet, so just pick one that suits you. I'll use a common site for it: http://hidemyass.com/proxy-list/ 2. Pick one of your taste(speed and connection time is pretty important), but make sure "HTTPS" is the only protocol enabled. 3. Copy the proxy IP and port, and go to this site: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/33446/twitch/skype.html - now enter the right information into the boxes: 4. Hit "Save to disk", and locate it on your desktop. 5. Now right click it, and click "Merge": 6. It'll give you a message about your configuration, just hit "Yes" to continue. 7.
