NI Maschine Mikro First Thoughts - xevenofhearts - 01-27-2013
Just last week I went out to a local music store and I was looking for a Novation Launchpad. I saw that they had a Maschine Mikro for $149.99 used. I asked about the product, it was in perfect shape, and I bought it. (I had a minor issue regarding the serial numbers for Komplete/Maschine already being in use, but I was able to contact Native Instruments pretty quickly to get that fixed.) I’ve only had it for 3 days and I’ve never used any type of audio software, so I thought I might do a first thoughts post on the product.

Eh...now why would anyone want to read these "first thoughts" on your Blog when we can complicate matters by asking you to make a thread here on your findings?
After all, logic dictates this material would fit very well with-in the Music Section and also would thus would give you an increased thread count.

Because they would be interested in the topic... I want to share the posts both on HC and my blog so I make this forum a way for people to come across my blog. And more people will see the post here rather than in the Music section.

The same number of people would see the thread in the Music Section just as easily as they would here by way of the nifty Post & Threads implementation good sir.

A certain implementation doesn't increase one's will to click something, like the music section. "Open Discussion" is much more broad and therefore I infer that it gets more views. I might not be correct based off of statistics but it's a reasonable inference.

A certain implementation doesn't decrease an individual's will to click on something as well.
Though truth be told with my bantering aside, the Open Discussion forum does get more views, which alluded to my suggestion of the Music forum to increase it's slight lack of activity.
Be that as it may, your inference makes complete sense nonetheless.
