Is msfencode any good? - The_King_Under_The_Hill - 01-05-2013 Hey, was wondering if using msfencode on a RAT make it at all UD? Or should I stick to Crypters and the like? Also, for cracking WEP/WPA in BT5, is there any way I can use Rainbowtables? As they are so much faster and have a better hit-rate than wordlists and bruting. RE: Is msfencode any good? - LightX - 01-05-2013 I'm not familiar with Rainbowtables, but I would stick to crypters to make your servers undetected. RE: Is msfencode any good? - The_King_Under_The_Hill - 01-05-2013 Ah, got any good / clean ones to recommend? And Rainbowtables are pre-computed tables that allow password cracking waaay faster than wordlists or bruting, might be worth a look if you're in to cracking passwords ![]() RE: Is msfencode any good? - Asuna_mybb_import7736 - 01-05-2013 (01-05-2013, 04:26 PM)The_King_Under_The_Hill Wrote: Ah, got any good / clean ones to recommend? All puplic crypters are shit. You need to have some money, to get one. RE: Is msfencode any good? - Deque - 01-05-2013 How about these WPA rainbowtables: http://www.security-database.com/toolswatch/WPA-Rainbow-Tables-Offensive.html RE: Is msfencode any good? - The_King_Under_The_Hill - 01-05-2013 @Drake8 - Yeah, gonna just learn to program my own and then not share it ![]() @Deque - Already got my tables, but those are awesome man! But my real question was, how do I use them to crack WEP/WPA in BT5? Do I just point Aircrack at it like a wordlist, or do I have to use a different program/method? Have a look here: http://aerokid240.blogspot.de/2010/08/wpa-rainbow-tables-with-cowpatty-and.html RE: Is msfencode any good? - chmod - 01-05-2013 Rainbow tables are better then brute forcing but I'd much rather attack the wps pin if that option is available as for msfencode it depends a lot on what the payload is but from my experience you're looking at about a 50% detection rate so figure out the AV of the target and test out your server on it first failing that youd be better off with using a different crypter RE: Is msfencode any good? - The_King_Under_The_Hill - 01-06-2013 @deque - Great article, thanks man! @chmod - Ahhh, fair enough, know any good paid crypters? Preferably from somewhere official rather than buying off some other hacker with paypal ![]() RE: Is msfencode any good? - chmod - 01-07-2013 Unfortunately not at the minute I'm after one myself used to have a really good one but lost it and can't for the life of me remember what it's called |
