[Android App] dSploit - The Real Slim Shady - 12-20-2012 Okay, well ill start off by saying I havent had the opportunity to try this out yet, as my Galaxy S3 isnt rooted. (Havent had a real net connection since I got the phone so downloads are a little expensive) But this App looks amazing. Should check it out. Let me know if any one else has put it to the test http://www.dsploit.net/ Im highly considering rooting my phone just to install this app lol. Might assist me in my travels and get me some cheaper internet LOL ![]() [Android App] dSploit - The Real Slim Shady - 12-20-2012 Okay, well ill start off by saying I havent had the opportunity to try this out yet, as my Galaxy S3 isnt rooted. Will be putting its features to the test within the next few days im sure ![]() RE: [Android App] dSploit - The_King_Under_The_Hill - 12-28-2012 I've had it for a while, but none of the features seem to work for me, although it freezes all internet traffic on the router youre connected too... Although I think it might just be me getting impatient and closing the app to text Haha RE: [Android App] dSploit - The Real Slim Shady - 01-05-2013 Just thought id update, ive managed to test this app out, but it keeps telling me im missing a dependency that im sure is installed. (part of busybox) So at this time, doesnt work for me. But it appears to work for others so perhaps its just a temporary issue. ![]() RE: [Android App] dSploit - LightX - 01-05-2013 (01-05-2013, 11:21 PM)Geoff Wrote: Just thought id update, ive managed to test this app out, but it keeps telling me im missing a dependency that im sure is installed. I was just getting ready to let him know Busybox requires a Full install, not just a partial install. Good call. The Developer stated most people who ran into problems with the install not working, usually was from a result of not having Busybox fully installed. Not counting the mobile has to be rooted and the operating system cannot be any older than Gingerbread. And what I'm truly curious about is how well this tool works. According to the Devs. website, it has features implemented that not even it's proprietary counter parts don't. I'd try this in Virtualbox via an Android x86 (getting Ethernet to work is still a painfull task) install, but that's more than a headache I'm currently willing to tolerate. RE: [Android App] dSploit - The Real Slim Shady - 01-06-2013 I have tried 2 different Busybox installers and gone through both of their "full" installs. Even reinstalled the first 1 twice. If this is not what they mean by a "full" install please let me know. I was smart enough to read the help docs you know ![]() And the OS is a rooted Jelly Bean. Ive been through a shitload of websites and helpdocs. I was even contemplating going through the dSploit code but i havent gone so far yet. (im not pro-java but i can generally follow the code and make basic changes). RE: [Android App] dSploit - Linuxephus™ - 01-06-2013 Public notice: Attempting to resolve in PM. Geoff will update the success or failure of my/our attempt here if he see's fit to do so. -Away From Keyboard- |
