Images changing color on Upload? - The Real Slim Shady - 07-16-2013
Okay so heres the problem.
I have image 1 that I have downloaded. I then uploaded to my own server/website project... however the shade of the image has changed color?? I can open the two images side by side and see a plain difference in the background shade. what was once a kind of grey, is now more green?
Ive tried 2 different file upload methods and neither has made a difference. i compared the version on my laptop and it appears to match the original website. Its only once i upload the image to my own server that the image appears to be modified??
Any assistance would be helpful. First time I have encountered/noticed this.

I thought of a solution while i was out and seems to have worked: i SSH'd to the web server and wget'd the image... and the image has transferred correctly.
But im still curious as to why two ftp clients, and cpanels file manager, had the same issue. tried in automatic mode, and binary... and there does not seem to be any compression methods in use. could it be the ftp server itself?? Ive googled and come up with squat.
