Where to start of with hacking? - BlackHat12 - 12-06-2012

Dear Hacker Community,

There always has been a desire of me the to learn hacking, so obvious I am just on the start, means no experience of any kind. So I would be very pleased if someone could explain, and give me a general over about hacking, and further provide me with a tutorial how to hack. I would be very pleased when being explained everything, what each step does, in order to get a deep understanding, also I would prefer not to use any sort of tools form others, according to my goal, to achieve all by myself, and not through someone's program.

Thanks in advance,

BlackHat12

Thank you a lot for your rapid reply, which I had a look at so far, including the links. It has helped me a lot so far, giving me a general understanding of hacking, showing what skills you should bring along, and therefore I have decided to get myself first of all into C++. After accomplishing this skill I would ask questions, and start off with some tutorials for hacking. For the C++ are there any particular sections I should look at very closely.

Just thanks again for the really helping post.

I would defenitely not recommed you to start out with C++. It's a pretty hard language to start out with, and there is a big chance that you would get tired of it right away. Therefore i would recommend you to start out with Python, which will give you a basic understanding about how programming languages works, and how to use them to create applications. Also Python is actually a pretty powerful language when you master all of it's functions. You will also have a lot of support since many "new hackers" starts out with it, and therefore many people have knowledge about it, and will gladly answer your quesitons.
