Windows XP - Administrator Account - webdesignmad - 11-24-2012 Hello world, Here is a pretty basic tutorial that will give you a bit more free reign of a Windows XP computer, by allowing you to become a computer Administrator. As usual, any questions you have, please ask, and I'll do my best to help. NOTE: this will allow you access to certain properties of your system that a standard account won't have, so be careful, as I'm not responsible for any harm. 1) Start up your computer normally (yes, this is rather important!!!) 2) Once the Welcome Screen has loaded, press Ctrl-Alt-Del twice. 3) A little window should pop up with spaces for your username and password. 4) Enter: Administrator in the username field, and leave the password field blank (as this account does not have a password by default) 5) Press enter (or click OK) and the computer should load the Administrator account. Check to see by clicking Start, and it should say Administrator at the top. Congrats! You are a computer Admin! RE: Windows XP - Administrator Account - CursingYourLuck - 11-24-2012 Whoa, wish I had that a couple years ago.. RE: Windows XP - Administrator Account - RA1N - 11-25-2012 you could probably make a script to abuse this. Make it load admin. Inject some dlls into a few processes.
