What do you feel provides the best security for you?

I personally use http://www.nvpn.net/ , Its a very fast and cheap VPN service, also containing no logs, alot of people on HF and NGU uses this vpn due to the no logs. i use coolsams VPN its alright i have a german VPN i might do a giveaway with all my vpn profiles for openvpn

What's everyone's opinion on free VPNs? Hotspot shield?
Also, do you prefer running through a proxy or VPN?

nVPN.net is a decent one. I believe they are log-free as well.

I was just providing my input.
I've used nVPN and it worked well, just adding to the vouches for them.
Cyberghost is another excellent VPN service, but they have logs.
The neat part about them is that you get access to a large amount of VPNs (more than 30).

Hot spot shield = run by feds.
Hide My Ass Pro = gave over sabus logs to the feds.
NVPN = no logs to hand over.
Nuff said.

Nvpn sounds like the best choice then. Any other security measures you guys recommend besides common sense?
