iPod app - bluedog.tar.gz - 03-28-2012

Hello,

We made an app on school that holds the work for little children.
You can plan your school work and chat with other children.
They all wanted it apple-style.

Feedback is welcome ~

Very impressive.

How was the project structured? How much was given and how much was left up for you to design?

It was totally free, we've first drawn some sketches and later worked it out bit by bit. We also had a conversation with the kids and talked with them what they would like to see back in the app.

That is really neat. Did you do the UX design and graphics? Was this collaborative, or did everyone end up with a different app design?

Correct, as i said we had a talk with them. Imo the ui isn't that perfect yet, it needs to be more children friendly.

Also everybody made a different app design.

I don't really know much about how things look, or what would make it look better. As with interface and user experience, I don't know how to judge what would be an easier flow, friendlier interaction, etc...

I program it, and as long as I know how it works, that's good enough with me... But that is why I rely on graphics designers and UX designers... and also why I am absolutely fascinated with interface designs...

So much time and effort goes into something, where I would be satisfied with a text link, that greatly improves the overall appeal, user experience, and improves the quality of the application so much that it takes mundane lines of code and provides a quality product.

Haha, so true. I had a talk with the guy who codes this, like seriously this text above was the same thing he said to me haha.
