Here i am going to teach you how to bypass the firewall and web filtering in your school or college
step 1:goto www.cjb.net
step 2: create a free shell account
step 3:Download putty or any other ssh client software
step 4:(IN PUTTY) connect to the host as follows
1. host name::shell.cjb.net
2.port no::22 or 443
3. protocol::ssh
goto ssh option in the left side and select tunnel option.Mark the above two check boxes in the window and
4.source port::8080 or 1080
5.click dynamic and auto check boxes and click "add" button
6.then click open
In the coming console window login to the host with your username and password that just created in the cjb.
Now goto your mozilla firefox browser,if you dont have download it.
7.click Tools->options->advanced->network->settings
8.click "Manual proxy Configuration"
9.In SCOKS HOST dialog box add localhost as host name and 8080 or 1080(the port you put as source in putty) as port and click scocks5 option.
10.click ok and that is your done

However, in most schools they block port 22...

We can also try port 443 also.It will be better than 22

Thanks for the Guide.... the trick to browse to the ip instead of the domain name is a cool one.
but will not work in case the site’s host users virtual hosts
