Hi guyz! I have a small question ^^
Why Every hacking forum like hc/hf/lc etc etc are on mybb?
I was just checking out phpbb! and i made this

And I like MyBB =) Not really fan of phpBB... also seen a lot of exploits for it

It's easier to use and you are just one click away from everything you wanna edit/adjust. When i was starting my forum, i tried phpbb first and i didn't had any experience with administration. I wasn't able to selfthought myself to anything new about forums. Then I tried mybb and I learned lots of stuffs about forums and administration. And I agree with everything Sage said.

To let you all know, i just had some spare time, so just to check out, i thought why not give it a shot. I also installed portal, ajax shout box but you are right guyz!

InvisionPBoard ---->Nice templates/love the main admin page with statics. Good seo and content plugins
Vbulliten -----------> I dont know why everybody loves it ((for me its like so so)), the CMS is toooooooooooo Shit dont ever ever buy its suite, {buy in 2013,} lolz..!
phpBB --------------> Agree with Sage, suck/s due to manual edit and fuckin sooo small Fonts in every them [manually enlarge them]
xenforo ------------> if you have a bought it [you are fuck/ed] haha ### if you are using a nulled version and you got many users and post [u r still fuck/ed]
xD you will not find more plugins for it bcz only paid members can get xenforo plugins \\ too shitty ## dont buySocial engine ------> Loved it but you will have to waste around 100000000$ to advertise and still you will get only 50 users
Mybb ----------------> Can't say anything bcz HackCommunity is on mybb
XD hahabut still the graphix/themes are not good.... same old fasioned, everywhere UNLESS you are very cool webmaster and has the ability to turn blogger into wordpress
but still there's a limit
simple machine forum ---> veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy small fonts look better in smf
electron forum -----------> all i remember about this is that once i installed it BUT after 2 minutes i cleaned my ftp XD
bbpress --------------> JUST ANOTHER WordPr3ss SH1T
seo boards-----------> the most epic SEO fail

vBulletin 3.8 however is awesome, the ACP is not the best but from member's side it looks professional. vBulletin 4.x has gone down the hill after Internet Brands took over, its improving though.
SMF is just static when it comes to development. No development done after RC2.
MyBB theres a good news coming that most of you don't know, I am told not to reveal it.
Thats the reason I always say, try the nulled version first.....make sure evrything is working and will be working fine. Then buy the Software!
and about the xenforo plugins, Sage i disagree with you! If you try and make a free account on the forum, you cant download the plugins from free user id, you have to login with the xenfor0 coustomer id, only then you will be able to download the free plugins
& i think MOST OF US are already waiting to hear some good news from mybb team since most of forum softwares are not completing our demands
as far as vb3.8 or 4 is concerned (no doubt they are good),BUT i will always prefer Invision Power Board.

PhpBB is highly exploitable. Piece of sh*t in my opinion. And they haven't come out with PhpBB4 yet, even after all this time. PhpBB3, not sure, haven't taken time to it, but on PhpBB2, if you have a board running PhpBB2, I can guarantee you that i'll be able to takeover the board in about 5 minutes.
