Chat with Friends through Command Prompt - HEX C++ COD3R - 02-10-2012

Hello friends Now U Can Chat With Command Prompt THrough So Here IS A Trick.....
1) All you need is your friend's IP Address and your Command Prompt.

2) Open Notepad and write this code as it is.....!

@echo off
:A
Cls
echo MESSENGER
set /p n=User:
set /p m=Message:
net send %n% %m%
Pause
Goto A

3) Now save this as "Messenger.Bat".

4) Open Command Prompt.

5) Drag this file (.bat file) over to Command Prompt and press Enter.

6) You would then see something like this:

7) Now, type the IP Address of the computer you want to contact and press enter
You will see something like this:

8) Now all you need to do is type your message and press Enter.
Start Chatting.......!

Why do you need to pause all the way through the loop? :huh: You should only need to define the user once too.

It works with a dynamic IP address, that doesn't even matter, it's your local network IP address that you're sending this to anyways, so as long as you have the proper one then it's all fine and good.

Also this is very outdated anyways, net send is a command that became obsolete in Vista and Windows 7 and replaced with MSG.

this is just another mask for net send. i tried the net send too but it never work... seems like a little bit difficult to use...

So you're going to put a copyright on a Windows system file being called by syntax through batch scripting on a few lines? Ok.
