How to use Wifi card when running Backtrack on VMware? - wanting to learn - 12-02-2011
Ok guys I need your help with a little problem that I have, so here goes:
I have installed VMWorkstation 8 on my computer and it is working just fine. I installed Backtrack 5r1 on a VM and that went just fine. But now that I am trying to use airodump-ng as I used to when I was booting right from the cd it doesn't seem to work. When I type <iwconfig> I get the message:
lo no wireless extensions.
eth0 no wireless extensions.
What can I do to enable my wireless card within the VMware?
The Host OS:
Dell StudioXps 16
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU
Intel® Wifi Link 5100 AGN
