Help me with parental controls - FunKx - 08-28-2011
Parental controls are real pain in the ass. So my story, I have installed windows 7 ultimate OEM x64 version if I'm not mistaken. So when I try to play some games, it gives me error about parental control settings, so I dug up something in google, it said that I need to allow the game in the parental controls, which are located un CP under user accounts. But for my surprise, they wasn't there.
I don't even have parental controls, but it won't let me play games like assassins creed. When I install windows live family safety (Parental controls included) I can't launch them, gives me error code 8007007e. So, I've tried everything so far...
I don't want to reinstall windows to other version, but I'd like to upgrade it to any other version, but it seems like I can't find any I could upgrade...
Any suggestions?
Is it even possible to upgrade w7 ultimate OEM ?

MbY Parental.C. is not properly installed or wmth like that i cant even install windows live programs it shows like i allready installed them and using them but i deleted and uninstalled evrything about that program : registry stuff,uninstall,delete some files i found....)

Yeah, I tried registry too, deleted everything related to parental controls.

Windows live sucks
I use Yahoo messenger and it is AWSOOOMEEE !!!!
You can connect your yahoo address with facebook and chat through msn with fb contact and you can transfer contacts from WL !!!!

Not that I have a lot of knowlege to go off of but the company piriform makes a free program called CCleaner. It has a registry cleaner that may pick up some entry you might have missed? If that doesn't work windows has a "windows installer cleanup utility" that might be worth looking into. I have never used it my self, but its what popped up for every response I had when I googled that error code. Good luck!
