Hey guys this is my first post sorry it really doesn't pertain to hacking.... rather im asking about unhacking. lol My buddy recently started using frostwire to download songs and got a few virus's, by a few i mean windows defender said it found 158 of them hahahaha would you happen to know where i can get free antivirus software? She wants to buy norton or mcafee, but i would rather try to get something that works well and that she wouldn't have to pay for. I would appreciate any advice you can give thanks a lot! :-D

Microsoft Essentials is one of the best free AV's so far. IMO.

Pirated security software is never a good idea. You can't know what else do the people who bypass the anti-piracy measures modify and if they don't have hidden intentions.
I often compare it to entrusting your house security to a thief. Would you trust him?
Like catimo said, MSE is interesting free choice, you might also look into Avast! for example.

It's better than MSE, MSE is like AVG but by Microsoft.
BitDefender is the way to go, even if you dont pirate it.

will bitdefender really take the virus off as a trial version or will it only scan my computer and tell me about the corrupt files/viruses?

USE NOD32 and u can get daily serial for free.

Try To use the free Kasper sky antivirus..It is best software for everyone. I m also using this software.

I'd suggest AVG, it's very simple to crack and easy to use. I'm sure you'll find the Serial somewhere.
