Hello.

My malwarebytes suddently shows a files named czStubEC.exe as virus it is a part of my Handybits easycrypto. crypting program. Is it a virus? i scanned 2 days ago and it didnt show but.? ive scanned on virustotal also. it says no detection??... kinda worried cuz its my crypting program Confused? if i upload it can u check it please?? Confused

Did a resource hack and scanned those. none of em shows as virus then??Confused

if its a crypting program, then it will naturally show up as a virus once, since it helps viruses be UD (undetectable). There is some amount of risk, that the stub is infected, and its difficult to find it out since the crypter itself is malware.

Really depends if you trust the maker or not... but its not weird that stub gets detected

well ive had the program for long time and then i ofc got some opdates on the malware bytes it havent showed up as virus before that <.<

Btw. it shows up as Rogue.SystemSmartSecurity

look, is it a crypter for some malware? if yes, then your possibly safe. If not, then it is a virus

ah i didnt say it right.. its a encrypting program:S(soz) for putting passwords and encryption on files

Edit: malwarebytes got another update and it doesnt show as virus anymore.

oh, then it shouldn't show up as malware...
It could be a possible false positive if it doesn't show up anymore...

I would scan it again on virustotal and see if anything changed, then go to: http://anubis.iseclab.org/ and scan it there too.

To my understanding, no this isn't a virus. Although if you doubt my judgment, Delete it immediately
