Backtrack live USB - Enc0de - 04-07-2011 Before we start you need to check if your computer has a USB boot option. Now the way to do this is plug in a USB flash drive in you computer and turn it off. Then turn it back on and go to your bios setting and check your boot option and see if it does give you that option If so follow this tutorial. First thing is you have to download unetbootin either from their official site http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net or my upload I recommend my upload since this is the most stable version unetbootin-337 http://www.mediafire.com/file/e3prwgjpxzxe7o8/unetbootin-windows-377.exe Now once you have downloaded it I'm guessing you already downloaded backtrack 4 r2 if not go grap a copy here. Download the ISO not VMWARE. http://www.backtrack-linux.org/downloads/ Now open up Unetbootin make sure you select DiskImage and browse to where you have backtrack 4 r2 to select it. Next always double check your usb's drive letter. And click ok and wait till it's done and thats it hope this helps. Now just reboot. RE: Backtrack live USB - 1llusion - 04-07-2011 Nice guide!!!! One thing: If you get error like: IRQ20: nobodycared (try booting with irqpoll) then all you have to do is: click TAB in the grub. Add: "irqpoll" without the "" on the end of the text. And hit ENTER ![]() RE: Backtrack live USB - Enc0de - 04-07-2011 (04-07-2011, 02:07 PM)1llusion Wrote: Nice guide!!!!
