[TUTORIAL] Making A Signature [Clipping Mask] - Shadow Hunter - 03-17-2011
I am going to post a guide on How to make

1. Go to www.renderat.com and get urself a render of which u want to make a signature of.
You can also chosse any other picture whatever you feel like .
i chose this

2. now open the render with your photoshop cs5 or cs4 (since i ma using cs5 the tutorial
would be on cs5 only)now move the render to that page in the photoshop.
3. now duplicate the render 8 to 9 times...(right click on the layer on the down right and
click on duplicate layer)
4.now move the layers haphazardly to fill the page make sure the canvas gets filled up.dont
make any changes with the real layer.
combining the 2nd 3rd and 4th steps it comes to this

5.except the real layer select all the other duplicate layers by pressing shift and
clicking on them and then right click and click merge layers.
6.now blur and burn (they can be found in the toolbox) the whole thing and then go to
filter and select blur and then make it gaussian blur..now this is gonna be ur
background..so lower down its opacity and make it 'overlay'
7. now make the real layer 'normal' (it should be by default).and the other layer (that is
the merged layer) overlay.
8.chosse a good brush like mine and do the editing.
combining 5 and 6 and 7 and 8 the image should be this

9.now merge both the layers and then make it black and white(if u dont know how to do this
ask me)..u would see a new layer is created..merge them again..so that only one layer
remains.

10. now create a new layer and make it overlay..reduce opacity to 50% or less and then apply
it
11. now add gradient to the layer(if u dont know ask me) and choose ur favourite this is
the one i chose.

12.u can add more layers and can apply more gradients and solid color but decrease their
opacity
13. now u can add text by creating a new layer..make sure u make the layer overlay to match with the font's colour with the background

finally the picture is ready.this was just a basic one..u can add shapes and other stuffs to make ur picture look for beautiful..

The picture is quite large so just corp it to make it perfect

Good Tutorial. Just add images in spoilers.
You can also press Ctrl + Shift + U to Desaturate (Make Black & White) easily.
