Display of thanks. - EXiLE - 11-20-2014

COMING SOON (insert long message here)
I'm going to begin to write a huge-ass thank you post and post it towards the end of December. I shall be mentioning alot of you, but if you feel like it's necessary, let me know and I'll give you my thanks. I feel like giving this December rather than receiving Wink

Well then, I look forward to it. It must be one hell of a thank-you post if it needs announcing a month early. Tongue

Looks to me like he's just attention whoring.

Like really... who gives a fuck. If you're going to do something, do it. Announcing that your going to do something is counter productive.

Its been shown in studies that those who share their plans/goals more often than not fail, simply because announcing it is a form of gratification and you become less motivated to actually do the hardwork, having received the gratification you were looking for by telling people about the work you were planning to do.

I've found that by announcing something, I now have accountability to complete the project. An example being my beginning Linux post (which is currently MIA). I had announced that, and had many people bugging me about "is it ready yet?" that I had to keep working on it. I still need to expand on it though Smile

That's what I do too, if people know about it; there's something pulling me to actually do it ^^

OT; sounds like a sweet idea; can't wait to see a HQ thread ^^

All I'm doing is showing my gratitude to those who have made my experience here (so-far) positive. I could be doing a few different things if I wanted to be an attention whore <3
