What Is AcuteCraft?

AcuteCraft is a creative, freebuild server open to all people of all ages and nationalities.
It consists of multiple worlds, but the main two worlds are:

FLAT:

A world where new guests show their talents, and get ranked up based on how impressive
the builds they create are. The flat world is wiped every month or so to avoid clustering of builds.
Players remain in this world for the Guest and Builder ranks.

MAIN:

The server's main world, where players of rank Member+ reside. It is a naturally-generated
world, and it is the world that houses the server's spawn point.


Rules:

1. Do not grief.

2. Do not spam, and please keep your caps to a minimum.

3. Do NOT under any circumstances fix grief. Simply report it to staff. Fixing it makes it
difficult for staff to uncover the griefer.

4. Do not ask for promotions or if something will rank you up. The staff decides whether a build
is worth a promotion or not. You may ask staff to review your builds and give you advice; we
would be more than happy to do so. ^.~

5. Do not advertise other servers. If you enjoy a server, that's great! But do not advertise it on our server.

6. No racist or inappropriate comments.

7. Respect staff at all times. Insulting us will not help you in any way, except for the fact that it
may very well ruin your reputation. We are just here to moderate the server and aid other players
to the best of our abilities; we are not your enemies. c:


Ranks:

Guest Ranks:

Guest:

"Guest" is the rank that everyone starts with. They have limited access to commands.
/fly - to fly
/i <item> <amount> - to spawn items
/give <playername> <item> <amount> - to spawn items


Builder:

"Builder" is the second "guest" rank, but has access to more commands.
It is given to those who have built a decent creation in the Flat world.

/tpa <playername> - Sends a teleport request to a player.
/ptime <day/night> - Sets time for the specific player.
/who - Lists online players.
/afk - Sets you as "afk" (away from keyboard).
/msg <playername> - sends an in-game message to a player.
/ci - Clears your inventory.
Guest ranks have access to the Flat world.

Building Ranks:

Member:

Members have access to the main world. Yay! It is given to those who have shown competent building skills.

/jump - Lets you jump ahead a few blocks.
/sethome - Lets you set a home at a current position.
/tpahere <playername> - Sends a teleport request to a player.
/gamemode <creative/survival/adventure> - Lets a player set their gamemode.
/powertool - allows you to set a command on a tool.
/mail <send/clear/read> <playername> <message> - Lets you send, read, or clear in-game mail
/warp <warpname> - Lets you teleport to a warp.

Architect:

Given to players who show potential in the main world. They have limited WorldEdit access.

Staff Ranks:

Mod:

Mods are an integral part of AcuteCraft's staff team. It is not for everyone, and is
not gain-able through building. Mods are specially handpicked by owners.
They are responsible for enforcing the server rules.

Admin:

Admins are the higher-ranking staff members. They are former mods who
have shown efficiency within the staff team.

HeadAdmin:

The "leader" of admins. His word is taken above that of normal admins. It can
only be occupied by one person. Current Head Admin: Kaeyr

Rainbow:

"Rainbow" is a rank EQUAL to the admin rank, and is given to certain friends.

Pony:

"Pony" is a co-owner rank, and is named so because the three who occupy this
rank are bronies (fans of My Little Pony). Although, the first of this rank is an owner.
Currently occupied by Kozume (owner), TheElementOfOne, and Hunt3r.

Owner:

Pretty self-explanatory rank. The owner of all the server! Currently held by Psichotix


FAQ

How do I get out of spawn?!
Read all of the signs, and make sure to also take a look at the ranks room as well
as the rule board, you will find a sign telling you the command that will get you out of spawn.
After doing so, follow the stairs up from the rule board and find the exit right upstairs,
and use the command on the tracks.


How do I get a promotion?!
After you build something on the server that you yourself are proud of, request a staff to kindly
look at your build. Note that sometimes they might be busy, this is alright. They will get to you.
Don't automatically expect a rank-up however, the staff member will most likely request you to
add or possibly change something about your build. If so, take their advice into account and look
into other ways you can improve your build. Don't just ask another staff member thinking they have different standards.

What is considered a good build?!
This is entirely up to the player to decide, but we look at builds based on exterior and interior if
applicable, creativeness, quality, and effort put into it. A small build with a lot of detail will go a
lot further than a giant stone brick house that took even longer to make but with less effort, in
our eyes. But do not build for a rank, build for fun, we want you to enjoy your time on this server,
but we also want you to enjoy it not for the powers you get, but because you can build and share
your works with others in a community we hope will become inspiring to you.
