Robin Williams - Jiggly - 08-16-2014

I'm sure many of you heard about his passing...
If you haven't then much is explained and discussed in the News Thread.

In his lifetime, he's been in so many awesome films (often for a somewhat younger audience).
I wanted to know what you lot remember him in? Which were your favourites? Opinions?

I remember him in a lot of kids films from growing up, and from ones that my kid brother enjoyed watching:

Happy Feet 1 & 2
Night at the Museum 1 & 2
A.I. Artificial Intelligence
Flubber
Jumanji
Mrs Doubtfire
Aladdin
Hook

Ahh there are so many more, but those are the ones that pop into my head right now.
I'd say my favourites were Flubber, Mrs Doubtfire and Hook.

Please do not be disrespectful in this thread. If you want to discuss the issues surrounding his passing, please do so in the news thread linked above. This thread is exclusively for discussing the films he featured in during his lifetime.

I've heard alot regarding him passing away, sadly. Regardless I just get an image by the movie Up. He looks like the character.

Oh god, I never thought of that before. Weirdly true.

It still feels too surreal to think that he's passed away for good. Aladdin and Mrs. Doubtfire were among my favorite movies he's done, if not some of my favorite movie I've ever seen.

I forgot about Robots and Popeye!

While it was one of his darker movies, World's Greatest Dad was very well done now that I look back on it. Also kind of gruesomely ironic now that I think about it.. but we're not discussing that!

RE: Robin Williams - Losi - 08-17-2014

I just visited the house where Mrs. Doubtfire took place in San Francisco to put flowers on the front porch. There's honestly an entire stack of flowers there now, his life will be missed.

I'm like many other people in that I grew up with Robin Williams' movies. I know it's not a special feeling, but his passing is really one of the only celebrity deaths that has actually affected me. I felt like I could really relate to him and viewed him fondly and with a nostalgic filter.

That's actually one of my favorite movies of his. It does darkly tie in with reality when you think about it.
