Big Update Coming/Event Status

As you can all imagine, I've been extremely busy. My vacation is coming to an end and updates haven't been getting done in the timeliest manner. So, don't take the date estimates I put down as written in stone. A while ago I made an announcement about how I was going to start generating money for Sinisterly. Ads will be implemented, etc...
What comes next is pretty neat. I'm getting rid of the current upgrades. While I'm getting rid of the ranks Super Elite/Elite, I'm adding four new ranks. Three of the ranks (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) will be for sale, while one is for old upgraded members (Legends). Also, the sitewide event is being extended/modified due to this big update.
[ Super Elite / Elite Members ]
Upgraded members will get a super exclusive award. Super Elite members will get the Super Elite award. Elite members will get the Elite award. One of the perks of having this award will be a discount (to be determined) on the new upgrade ranks. This award, unlike most of the others available, will be limited edition.

Not only that, they will be added to a usergroup named Legends. Legends will be exclusive to members on Sinisterly that upgraded within the first two years of the site's operation. The award's purpose is to show which group you belonged to if you're a part of Legends. I don't plan to let anybody else into the group.
[ New Ranks / Date ]
I'm planning on adding the ranks Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Currently, the userbars are being designed for this rank, and you can already see the groups listed on the Usergroup Legend. Membership to these groups will be sold for real money only. As always, the money received will be used to benefit the site (and not buy me a television).
Ideally, within the next week or two the update should happen. I'm busy, I have a life, and I'm a university student. So, I can't give an exact date right now. There will be a giant announcement when it happens. If you want to receive the super exclusive benefits that Elite/Super Elite members are receiving, upgrade by August 18th.
[ SP's New Use ]
Well, you won't be able to buy upgrades with SP. That's for sure. However, I plan to add new awards, and plenty of things for purchase. SP will still remain a core part of SL. It will also retain its original purpose, which is to reward activity and contributions. Expect some super neat awards and perks in the store over the next few months.
[ Sitewide Event ]
As you can imagine, with the use of SP being modified, people might freak out over the sitewide event. As a result, I have chosen to extend the event to August 31st. That's another 20 days to submit an entry. The prizes being given will be modified and I'll be sure to give out a couple of upgrades to contestants.

It's hard to make decisions and updates like these. But, it's nice to know that I've got people behind me that are also looking out for SL. Glad you guys are pleased.
