Good horror animes? - Eren Yeager - 08-11-2014
Hey guys, I'm really into anime but mainly the creepy ones.
I have watched Death Note, Jigoku Shoujo, Elfen Lied, Another, Ghost Hunt...
I just can't find many others, could you recomend me some? I saw the first episode of Pulpa but it was weird as hell!

I suggest Another, it was one of the better horror types I enjoyed in a while.
Edit: I didn't see Another on your list for some reason at first glance. I suggest Corpse Party's OVAs.

That's what I meant in my post. I watched that Pupa anime, not Pulpa or whatever I wrote. That sure didn't sound right.

Most of the ones you listed are more psychological thrillers than anything in my opinion. To list some more of that genre you could try School Days or Mirai Nikki.

Umineko naka Koro ni
Shinrei Tantei Yakumo (Not really a horror one but not bad)
Densetsu Yuusha no Densetsu (Again, not really horror but some REALLY good gore scenes...)
Mirai Nikki
There aren't really any Horror animes that aint just psychological thirrer with added gore scenes...

Tokyo Ghoul is a pretty good currently airing anime. Once again like the many other suggestions, it's not really a horror anime so much as one with suspense and gore. The manga is fantastic, but the anime does increase the pace that the action happens. I would suggest watching the show as it airs then rereading the manga for more details.
