Now the mausoleum where Kim Jong Il's body lies has been opened to public, and made an tourist attraction... they seem to try gaining some more attention abroad, maybe making some better fame this time. If you know about N. Korean culture then you would know Kim Jong-Il was viewed as a god. And just like any other society, you build public monuments for your gods. Of course, could well be that he is adored a lot. But again, it could be the other way. The thing is, you can't know. I remember a documentary about the people there, so so many poor people there and a house must have a pic of the man inside of their house.
