Theory: Adolf Hitler Didn't Commit Suicide? - Oni - 07-20-2014
Recently, I read a couple of articles suggesting that Adolf Hitler didn't commit suicide in his little Führerbunker, but instead fled to Argentina. Mind you, this is an old theory, but it seems more plausible than most for multiple reasons. I've made this thread to explore the theory itself, not actually verify whether it's true he fled.
Reasons being:
- The FBI received reports of and investigated the possibility of his survival (Link).
- The supposed skull fragments appeared to be a woman's (Link).
- The remains were taken and examined by Russia, but never taken or examined by the United States (needs citation).

It seems pretty plausable. Adolf could easily have someone die in his place. But why would the Soviets lie to us? I mean, the US and Russia were allies during World War II.

Well, Russia and the United States have always had an "interesting" relationship. I have no idea why they would lie, unless they got something out of it. What's odd is that the only evidence the remains were his, is confirmation from "an assistant to Hitler’s dentist" that the jawbones matched. I don't think an assistant's confirmation is enough to outweigh the oddities of the skull fragment.

What a fascinating theory. Wouldn't it be interesting if in so many years time, his body gets found there?
The FBI files were an interesting read too.
I think it's very feasible. Although, it would be hard to work out all of the details. There's still a lot that is unknown.

I researched this in depth a few years ago and decided that in my opinion, Hitler never committed suicide, and that he went to Argentina and lived there for the rest of his life, the recent FBI info that was declassified is just adding logs to the fire.
