The Wolf Among Us - Uzinero - 07-08-2014

I just completed the season finale of The Wolf Among Us Season 1 and thought I'd start a discussion. Thread will be spoiler heavy, so if you haven't completed it, get out while you can.

My thoughts:
Spoiler:
I really enjoyed TWAU. I got to admit, it was incedibly short though. I sometimes paused the game for 20-40 mins or more at a time to eat dinner and then continued, and having just completed it, my total tracked time on steam is just 8 hours for the game. However, it really was amazing. I bought it when 4/5 episodes were out and episode 5 was released today. I wasn't too sure about it in the first episode, but it got better with every episode and really impressed me. I just finished Episode 5, and I personally chose to lock The Crooked Man up. I wanted to rip his head off, but figured this was the better option. What did you guys think about the ending? My personal opinion, is that Nerissa is Faith, and in the end that was Bigby finally clicking and realising it + we find out that Nerissa knew Lilly's schedule and Lilly was supposed to be with the Woodsman in Episode 1, so I think it makes a lot of sense that Nerissa is actually Faith. I went after her in the end. Considered letting her go, but nope, had to iron out the details if possible. I'm fucking excited for Season 2, what about you guys?

I've seen a lot of people post Let's Plays of the series on YouTube, but I'm not really sure what it's about. Is it like the new The Walking Dead game series?

Quote:The Wolf Among Us is an episodic graphic adventure video game based on Bill Willingham's Fables comic book series.[12] It is developed and published by Telltale Games[2] and distributed by Vertigo and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It is canon with the comic book universe and is set as a prequel to the comic book.

Spoiler:
I killed the crooked man and also went after Faith, I think like you that Narrisa is faith but I also think that her ribbon is only for decoration and I also think that there's something much larger at play, notice how Narissa only appears when Bigby needs something to point him in the right direction? Kind of lucky she just happens to be around when he needs some help right? I also went after her.

Telltale Games, is that so? That'll explain the heightened popularity.

Spoiler:
Yeah, that makes sense, she does only ever appear when Bigby needs to be pointed in the right direction, not sure if there's something bigger at play or that was just her trying to genuinely help him solve the case, will be interesting to find out in S2

Indeed. It's an adventure game in the same style as TWD in which you live in Fabletown, a town full of Fables, and you are the town's sheriff, Bigby Wolf. I wasn't sure of it at first but I really liked it.
