I'm curious what kind of techniques and tools you guys use when attacking or pentesting.

I'm still learning, but what I use is mainly what's available within Kali Linux.

Here's what you do: download vmware or virtualbox. Download Kali Linux and install it to a new virtual machine. Start googling tutorials on each application within it. Also I reccomend installing Veil in the Kali Linux VM. Very useful and effective for FUDing Payloads.

Lol wtf does that have to do with recon.
I p much just nmap the nigga and then use wappalyzer for cms detection. Also map the whole range of it's important, usually only get hosts running a web server.
