The Wiki:
The wiki is intended to be used as a place for collecting information about projects you are doing, stuff you have found, or simply as a resource dump. As it stands anyone can add or edit pages, and you don't need an account. However you will have to fill out a captcha in order to edit, but if you make an account you won't have to fill any out afterwards.
Why?
Simply because the need for one is there. We need a place for anyone to post their discoveries, knowledge, or even projects that they are working on. The point is, for someone to search for "Cyberpunk", and have a bunch of resources available to them. As I am sure there are plenty of other wikis out there, the more places that are available to store information, the more widespread that information becomes.
Why is this ad here, and why are you not banned?
Firstly let me say that I have talked to Oni about doing this, and I have his permission. Secondly I make $0 dollars from all of this, and I have no plans to put any kind of ads on the wiki or even to beg for money (like a certain wiki does). As for why this ad is here, because the wiki needs people to help expand it. It is a resource for all to use, and is only as good as the people who use it.
How to help:
If you are interested then please visit the wishlist, and start there. If you add a page make sure to add it on the main page. Currently there is no default template to stick to but if someone wanted to do that, that would be great!

So a wiki for all sorts of tech stuff? Like where you'd go to look for computer related vocabulary, or maybe you came across some word related to programming you didn't know, so you go check it there?

Well there is a section for software and arts and craft. Along with a place for general references. The software side is barren at the moment, but I am hoping anyone who has some cool projects or even documentation will add something to the software.
The hardware hacking stuff was posted by one of my friends, I haven't really been able to contribute as much as I want but that is what finals do to you. I am currently doing a project that I will (after finals) add.
