A bit of Typography - Mafia - 03-02-2014 Hey tried my hand at a bit of typography today, I like it quite a lot. What do you think? ![]() RE: A bit of Typography - Skitstep - 03-02-2014 I like it a lot too. That could be an awesome logo idea for a company dealing with stocks/money etc.. Great job! RE: A bit of Typography - BeastlyHobos - 03-02-2014 That looks pretty sick nice job. Keep them coming. RE: A bit of Typography - Rivalry - 03-02-2014 The 3D effect on the M is broken because you were lazy; you need to make many more layers for the 3D effect than just 1, and move each one just 1px further than the last. There's currently a big gap between main/3D layer in the middle of the M; fix it. As for the typographical part of it, it's not great. The 'Mafia' text doesn't fit in with the width of the M, and it's too fine as a font. I would shrink it, bulk it out, and space it to ensure it actually fits. The stock graph thing you've put over the M doesn't seem to be necessary, but the line goes too close to the edge at points, which is rather annoying. Colours are fine. I'd recommend you look up some typography tutorials and then try again; don't give up!
