Any Online Hardware Stores? - n3cr0m4nc3r - 01-15-2013

My graphics card just stopped working out of the blue yesterday, and I am in need of a new graphics card. Can anyone point me out a cheap online hardware store for me to buy a new one? I live in South America, so keep the shipping in mind. Thanks

Newegg.com and tigerdirect are pretty cheap. Not sure if they ship to SA though.

Tigerdirect is the one I generally use, but I highly doubt they'll ship it to Brazil. You'd probably be better off visiting the United States and picking up parts like I do.

ebuyer.com is a great site, recommended by most colleges.

I would use Tigerdirect. I mylsef use Newegg. I live in the USA, sadly...

Also, you travel to US just to get hardware?

Yeah hardware can be very expensive depending on where you live. Doesn't surprise me that it would cost less to go to US and buy hardware rather than just buying on your local store.

True, but even factoring in traveling costs? That must make it worthless to travel to the US for just Hardware. At least get into money laundering or something so you can smuggle it out of the country!

Newegg's fine for me, honestly. I've bought off sites in the US, had them sent to friends, and have friends send them to me if I can't find a cheapish product that ships to me.

That's one way... But still the shipping is high and the taxes are absurd.

Shipping is pretty fair and the taxes are minimal.
