If you decide not to pursue a career at this time in your life dont be afraid to go back to school even if you older.

Not exactly career advice, but advice for an interview.
"Make the interview last longer than ten minutes, it will improve your odds"
From my experience that's true.

Find out what you like doing and what you are good at.

When I was a fresh graduate, my parents always told me that it's not the job per se that you need to look at, it's the experience that you gain. AT that time, I took whatever opportunity came my way. And now 15 years later, I realize my parents had been correct. If I became very choosy at that time, I probably didn't gain as much experience as I have now. I can say that now I'm very flexible at work because of all the experiences I've gained in the past.

The best piece of career advice I've ever gotten is to treat everyone how you'd want to be treated.
This mindset has kept me from being rude to customers and also co-workers. I always think, 'what if were me? What would I like to happen?'

That's important to keep in mind because I tend to lose my temper at idiots who fuck up my order.

Not sure about that... but I think I would rather be doing something I love and earning less than being miserable winning tons of cash.

If you love your job you never work a day in your life.
Just do what you love, in the end happiness is more important than money. If it doesn't feel right then don't stick with it, just make sure that you always have something lined up.
