Landing on Moon? - latex_op - 12-26-2013

Truth or a fake American conspiracy? I personaly think that it is fake, on a pic of the man on the Moon the american flag is waving and on the Moon there is no wind! Feel free to discuss and give your oppinion.

I feel that there are way to many people involved for no one to have said anything about a conspiracy.

Are you referring to these pictures:

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-F88Qtn42hww/UD6_PzSOisI/AAAAAAAAB_Q/m2KsSHnP1rY/s1600/moon-walk.jpg

In the first one you can see that it has a certain shape right? Since it is a picture you cant tell if it is moving or not.
Now the second picture is taken on the other side. The flag is still in the same position, therefor the flag is not waving.

You will need to create a better argument then that. Honestly they have no reason to lie.

The shape of the flag is representing that it is waving. And they probably lied because they wanted to be the first nation to land on the Moon, before Russia. And if the flag is not waving how is it then standing up like that?

I suggest you read my post again.
2 pictures show the flag is in the same spot.
So lets say that you take a large bag out of a box.
The plastic bag is going to be crumpled up and as you move it around
with your hands you are touching it physically which will in turn change the shape of the bag.

and on the moon it has a lot less gravity than earth, that is why astronauts have
to wear large suits as the moon only has 1/6th gravity.
Which means that both small and large objects have very little gravity holding them down and if you look at the flag it is supported on the side and the top.

also lets say that it was fake, why would a flag be waving in the wind?
it is said that they did it on a movie set..

I just dont understand how you are using that as your meat and bones of your argument

RE: Landing on Moon? - Panik - 12-27-2013

There would be less gravity to pull the flag toward the ground therefore it can stay in the same position it would be in if there were wind.

RE: Landing on Moon? - Leader - 12-27-2013

I don't pay any attention to conspiracy theories, because they can easily be discredited. We landed on the moon over 50 years ago. If you still think it was faked, you need to move on. There are no arguments that can prove to me that we never landed on the moon. Any argument that you provide can easily be debunked by the moon landing special of Mythbusters.

RE: Landing on Moon? - Eternal Minds - 12-27-2013

There's no wind, sure, but when they were trying to put the flag in the rock, obviously they had to force it in and that changes the shape.

RE: Landing on Moon? - Mafia - 12-27-2013

I'm pretty sure they went to the moon. What about all the people who witnessed the spaceship taking off and landing?

RE: Landing on Moon? - True2marie - 12-27-2013

I do believe that man landed on the moon. It's hard for me to fathom the US government or any other one faking pictures of this event especially considering the amount of money poured into building a space craft. Plus, by now, I think an astronaut or worker at NASA would have released concrete proof that everything was a hoax.
