Nope, it can be months old. He even said that he ate a molded badger and it tasted delicious. He do cook them though so the bacteria and viruses gets removed. He also have a big freezer with roadkill so he can cook it whenever he wants.

I actually have no opinion about this whatsoever. If anything its quite inventive of him to do this. Shit, we probably did this before we become an agricultural society.
