The counter is inaccurate and refreshing can be abused.
No point of having it. Posts can be an indicative of popularity.

The same thing could be said about the stars right beside a post.
Normal members can't rate them, and I don't see the point.

This is a really nice suggestions as refreshing can be exploited and they are not accurate.

The stars are for ratings and VIP can rate and only VIP because dissociation wants you to be able to rely on ratings for maybe a user or a marketplace thread

The views work, it just takes a moment to upload.
Also, no one is going to sit there and refresh for views, they do nothing for anyone.
