Our Origins? - Deviant - 12-22-2013

As more than most of us know, matter can't be created nor destroyed. So where did we come from? Did we just magically spawn like a gaming character? Or is there something we are unaware of?

In my honest opinion, I think we have evolved. No god put us here.

Science has proven that the stars, that we look up at every night, is a part of us.

We came from the Universe. Simple as that.

Your thoughts?

I'm just going to go ahead and say that macro-evolution is the reason.

No one knows the answer. The Big Bang seems like the most logical explanation at this point. Our existence comes from the pure beauty of evolution. It's amazing and humbling when you truly think about it.

It truly is.

And plus you have to think, the earth was here billions of years before it was inhabited.

It's a mere miracle that humans exist.

I believe that we were created but im not about to get into a religious argument about it, these are just my views/thoughts

I wouldn't call it a miracle, at all. Our existence may seem very implausible, yet, possible. Let's say that the chance of life forming on a planet was 1 in 1 billion. The chances seem slim, right? If this were true, there would still be 1 billion planets, maybe more, that harbored some form of life. Our universe is so vast, we don't know what is out there.

I'm just implying that the way we've interacted in some 2000 years that we've became civilized.

There is life on the known planet, but in bacteria form.

I like your thinking though.

Agreed. The Big Bang Theory does seem to be the most logical explanation as of right now. Evolution is a concept that has always intrigued me, as it's truly mind-blowing to look back and see how much we've developed as a whole, stemming from such small beginnings.

Over the known time of the Earth(4.5 Billion years) I think that it is quite surprised that live has evolved from single-celled organisms to complex life in that "short" amount of time.

Compared to the Earth, we've only been here for a very very short amount of time.
