Motivation - cr33pyguy - 01-29-2014

Hello brothers and sisters from sinisterly.

Today I have come to you with a small dilemma. I just can't find the motivation to do anything anymore. I mean school work mainly, but really the only thing I've been doing is gaming.

The question is, can you give me good motivation to do my work, or at least tell me what motivates you to do so.

RE: Motivation - Satan - 01-29-2014

Personally, my motivation is revenge.
I want to succeed to rub it in the face of a backstabbing exbestfriend.
So I push myself to just so I can smugly grin at him.
And yes, that is 100% serious. Its a very potent motivator.

As far as you. Focus on your future, what you want to do. If you don't know what you want to do in life, focus on things you want to buy, dream house, nice cars, etc.
I find the best motivation is a goal, something to really work towards, but its gotta be something you really want.

Oh, I understand very well that you're serious. I had similar motivation going back a couple of years.

I've been raised up in a family where saving resources and being environmentally friendly was highly couraged. We rarely went anywhere and never really moved around (except to Germany because of my fathers job). Anyway, I've been raised in a way that makes me not so eager to have new things.

I want to be a web designer. My new school however, does not offer any form of art, computer science or design at all. Do that kinda sucks. I could see myself working my ass off for grades in computer science or design.

I hope I'll figure out something.

You should study now before you regret anything, Trust me. I suggest you take that as a motivation. Have you ever felt so much regret for not doing something before, or until now?

I'll try for sure... but I'm just not... motivated. I've never really studied, but got good grades, and still am above average.

Also, what do you mean with the last part? (sorry, english is not my first language Tongue )

Motivation is something everyone loses.

To become motivated, you have to focus on what you want to do.

Don't draw the queen of diamonds, boy.

Good that I'm not the only one Tongue

I guess the problem with this is that what I want doesn't really have a lot to do with my education, not really motivating me in that... but sure, it will motivate me with my freetime activities
