Project: PPE - Equinox - 01-20-2014 Lately, I've been working on a project I call "PPE". This stands for "Python Programming Environment". I've been using Visual Studio but as of lately it is becoming really annoying. I cannot work with all the tools I require because it is very limited to what can be done. Anyone know of a program at least similar so I can do this? Requirements:
If nobody knows of a program, then maybe a different method of finishing or doing the project. Thanks. ~ Annoyed Dub RE: Project: PPE - w00t - 01-20-2014 You can do all that in visual studio. The problem with it, when using a richtextbox and saving as a python file, it won't start because of the richtext part of it. RE: Project: PPE - 3SidedSquare - 01-20-2014 Uhh... IDLE does this... It's just not written in VB Also, I think everything you listed there is possible in vb. RE: Project: PPE - Pidiot - 01-20-2014 Dude you can do all of this in visual studio RE: Project: PPE - Equinox - 01-20-2014 (01-20-2014, 05:14 PM)Duubz Wrote: I can't seem to do it. RE: Project: PPE - w00t - 01-20-2014 I don't know the exact way to do it right, but the way I'd do it to be lazy would be if a word I want to change the colour of is typed, have it get selected, then set its brush appropriately. RE: Project: PPE - Bily159 - 01-20-2014 Just use the normal idle python you can download it for free RE: Project: PPE - Adorapuff - 01-20-2014 Don't reinvent the wheel. This already exists, so why re-create it.? RE: Project: PPE - Equinox - 01-20-2014 Its a fun side project. That's why I'm doing it. |
