The War Z - Oni - 12-21-2012

I generally give all games a fair chance and I'm not all that critical. However, in terms of shittiness, The War Z took the cake. Despite what others said, I bought the game, and gave it a fair chance. Unfortunately, the game didn't deliver in the least bit. Chock full of what many say are "90's flight simulator textures," it's not a very good game. In addition to the bad textures, I found that it may as well have been a hiking simulator. I spent more than an hour running and less than 30-40 seconds killing zombies... with a flashlight.

One thing about this game is that it's insanely hard to find weapons, in which case it might be more entertaining if you had them. Sadly, you'll join in the game and have other players ambush you for your granola bar, and you'll be left to wait an hour for your respawn timer to count down. Don't get me wrong, the game could pass as an alpha release candidate - but never a full fledged game. You only start with a flashlight, a can of soda, and a granola bar. Killing more than one zombie at a time is almost impossible, unless you have a gun. You will spend hours running around.

Don't waste your money, I've already asked Steam for a refund.

I never played Day Z. I just wanted to warn you guys and save you the disappointment. I might do a playthrough just to show you.

I searched the game, one of the top results was a negative review.

RE: The War Z - Xeronations - 12-23-2012

It seems that they were pulled from Steam for wrongly advertising their product.

Remember how I told you WarZ was a scam?

Believe me next time xD. :blackhat:

Been playing WarZ for the last 3 months, it's fun, and I don't believe it's a scam.
